When you're challenged
A challenge means someone staked USDC to dispute your claim. An arbiter reviews the evidence and rules within 7 days. You don't need to take action.
Three outcomes
Challenge rejectedYour claim upheld. You keep your stake + receive the challenger's deposit.
Challenge upheldClaim found inaccurate. You lose your stake. Claim marked invalid.
InconclusiveNot enough evidence. Both sides get stakes back. Claim unchanged.
Winning a dispute strengthens your record. A claim that survived a challenge is a stronger signal than one never tested.
