Reputation scoring

Brands and labs build permanent public records from dispute outcomes.

How it works

  • Win -- Challenge ruled Valid (claim accurate). Brand and lab each get a win.
  • Loss -- Challenge ruled Invalid (claim false). Brand and lab each get a loss.
  • Inconclusive -- No effect on win rate.

Win rate = wins / (wins + losses)

Blank records vs. zero scores

New participants start with a blank record, not a zero score. No disputes yet means unknown credibility, not bad credibility.

Why it matters

  • Brands with losses can't hide them
  • Labs with poor results see losses accumulate across all brands using them
  • Brands prefer labs with strong records
  • Retailers prefer brands with strong records
  • Records are permanent -- no resets, no deletions

Higher stakes build stronger reputations. A brand consistently staking well above $50 that maintains a clean record carries more weight.
